The Packer Lodge in Yogyakarta is a fantastic place to stay. the dorm lodge offers wonderful facilities and amenities, such as clean and lovely bathrooms, as well as sweet little extras like tea, coffee, and crackers available at all times. the staff is friendly, smiling, and extremely helpful, making you feel welcome and taken care of. the location is perfect, right off the main street with easy access to everything. I highly recommend this place to every backpacker, you will love it!

The staff was super accommodating and the price was a great value. Plus, the location was ideal - close to Malioboro street and a mall, making it convenient for shopping and exploring. the cleanliness of the hostel was well-maintained.

There could have been better storage options in the toilet and a refill of breakfast items would have been appreciated. a designated shoe rack or organized space for shoes/slippers would have been helpful.

The cleanliness of the rooms and facilities was impressive. They were well-maintained and regularly cleaned, making for a comfortable stay. the staff were very friendly and helpful, providing valuable assistance with organizing trips and giving useful suggestions. The location was also a big plus, with easy access to the train station and numerous shops in the area.

There were a few drawbacks to consider. The breakfast options were quite basic, consisting mainly of bread with jam, chocolate, and butter.

We had an amazing stay at the hostel in the heart of Malioboro street. The staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They even organized a personalized trip to Solo for us, which was a highlight of our time in Yogyakarta. The rooms, toilets, and entire hostel were spotlessly clean, and the chill area was a great place to relax and meet other travelers. The location, close to the main train station and city center, was perfect for exploring the city and accessing transportation. we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend the hostel.

We had a fantastic stay at The Packer Lodge. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect for backpackers, being just 50m from Malioboro street with its delicious street food options. We loved how close it was to everything, including the train station, shops, markets, and other tourist destinations. The beds were clean and comfortable, with curtains for added privacy. The breakfast was sufficient, with bread, jams, coffee, tea. we highly recommend this hostel and will definitely be back.

The hostel was very clean and newly furnished, offering great value for money. the bed cubby was well-designed with personal space, personal charging points, and small personal lockers. the larger storage compartment was locked with an electronic card, providing extra security for my belongings. the location of the hostel was excellent, as it was very near the Malioboro Mall and the bus station from the airport, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city.

One drawback of my stay was the requirement of a deposit of 150.000. Although I understand that it may be due to the electronic card system used for room and storage compartment access, it would have been helpful if this information was provided in advance.

We had a great stay at a conveniently located bunk bed hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the bed was comfy, and the room and bathroom were clean. We loved being just a short walk away from the famous Malioboro Street, where we could find plenty of street food options. Plus, the price of souvenirs at the nearby market was easily negotiable. we would recommend this hostel for a budget-friendly and enjoyable stay.
